Personally, I prefer to tutor one on one, just because it allows me to focus on the problem areas of one student at a time, it also means that parents get more value for money and the end result is pleasing.
I work with students at the GCSE and A-level stages (or equivalent) and work with them so that they can understand the concepts that they have trouble with and carry on to work independently. I prefer to start with the materials that the students are currently working with and expand from there.
First I will talk through the topic with the student referring to their textbook or notes then check if they have any questions then I'll either write some questions or find some in the textbook then after i have worked with them for the first question i will leave them to answer on their own helping if they have any questions if the student is successful we do some more questions then move on to...
My teaching methods are simple and everyone finds it quite easy. I'm gonna teach you the same way as I was taught by my special teacher.
I teach students from Year 2 up to Year 11. My specialist subjects are Maths, English and Religious Studies. For my GCSE's, I had achieved a grade 8 in Maths, English Language and English Literature. In Religious Studies, I received a grade 9; I became the highest achiever of an extremely underperforming school that only had a 20% pass rate in English and Maths.
I mostly work with GCSE students whom I help boost their grades to top level. Most of my teaching is based around my students preferred learning style and I suit my lessons so that the student finds them enjoyable as well as productive.
Our lessons will be tailored to your needs to help you in areas you are less confident in and to further your ability in areas you are more confident in. I will show you how to find what you are being asked to do in exam questions and how to successfully answer them.

I'm currently in sixth form doing Further Maths. While new to tutoring, I've spent the past four years volunteering with children between ages 5 and 13 so I've learned how to work with different personalities. Additionally, maths has been my strong point for a long time so I have spent many years helping my classmates.
I base my teaching around the individual, meaning I take into considerations the strengths and weakness of a student. Once the strengths and weaknesses have been identified I work systematically using a wide range resources to target areas of difficulty, accumulating information and knowledge which help the student to answer exam questions, complete coursework or carry out practical assessments.
My teaching method is by making sure the student understands it in a way that they will remember and can apply in other aspects in the subject.
I believe in Japanese (Plan-Do-Check-Act )methodology of working & ensure my peers enjoy learning & experience continual improvements in their weak areas.
