About Andrea
I am about to begin my 22nd year of teaching. I have a passion for books and love to talk about all different genres and levels. Talking about books with my students gets them more interested. I do know that many people do not like to read, so the first step is sharing something with my student that is of interest to them!

I’ve taught 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade, but have a masters degree in Literacy K-12. I pride myself in helping students learn to love reading by first building their confidence! I will assess where each student is starting and then work to help them make growth from that point!
