About Lois
I am interested in tutoring A Level Politics because I am passionate about the subject and enjoy helping others learn. I have two younger brothers who I regularly support with their schoolwork, which has helped me develop patience and an ability to explain ideas in a clear and approachable way.
I am currently tutoring A Level Sociology, which I have found genuinely rewarding. I enjoy seeing my student’s progress and adapting my explanations to help them understand and engage with the material more confidently.
I am also very interested in study skills and revision techniques, particularly what makes revision effective at A Level. I would value the opportunity to pass on these strategies alongside my subject knowledge in Politics, helping students not only understand the content but also perform well in exams.

My lessons would be an hour long. They would offer extensive help with exam practice, including essay technique and revision resources. Furthermore, they would include critical discussion of current political events, to give the student a well-rounded and deep understanding of the political landscape, which is necessary to reach the higher levels of contemporary analysis required in A-level politics.
