About Katie
Currently a Primary Education with QTS student studying at Edge Hill University, I have been playing piano for 16 years, completing my ABRSM grade 8 in the winter of 2017. I also hold ABRSM grade 5 music theory as well as an A-level in music and an abundance of experience teaching in primary and high schools during voluntary work.

I understand that the best way to learn the piano is through playing therefore I aim to ensure students are playing for the majority of the lesson. I also embed the teaching of basic music theory into the practical learning to help students gain a deeper understanding of the piano.
