Techniques and Teaching Methodology: I believe in adapting my teaching methods to each student's unique learning style. I begin by assessing their strengths and weaknesses in the subject matter. Then, I customise lesson plans to address these specific areas. My teaching includes a mix of visual aids, real-life examples, and interactive exercises to make the subject matter relatable and enjoyable, whilst also encouraging questions and discussions as it is essential to reinforce understanding. Typical Length of a Lesson: My lessons typically last one hour, ensuring that we have sufficient time to cover the material thoroughly, address questions, and practise problem-solving. This duration strikes a balance between depth of understanding and preventing information overload. Qualification/ Experience as a Tutor: With a strong academic background, I achieved A grades in both GCSE and A-level Maths and Biology. My lessons are specifically aimed at GCSE students or those at a lower level. In addition, I have a history of mentoring young kids from my school, earning praise for my patience and teaching style when working with children of varying learning abilities. This experience has honed my ability to adapt and provide effective instruction to students with diverse needs. My track record includes seeing my students achieve significant improvements in their grades and develop a genuine interest in the subject.
