About Emma
Hi, my names Emma, I am 18 years old and looking to tutor students aged 4-16 (primary school- GCSE) as I am passionate in my subject of English and I am hopeful to instill that same passion into younger students. At GCSE, I achieved a grade 7 in English Literature, and an 8 in English Language. At A-level I achieved a grade A in combined English language and literature (along with a C in psychology and a B in sociology). I feel strongly that teaching and learning should not be a boring and dull process, and shoukd instead allow for imaginative thinking and the student feeling positively challenged, which is what I feel confident in being able to support you/ your child with.

Hi! My name's Emma and I am able to provide tutor sessions of up to 90 minutes long which can focus on simple phonetics and reading comprehension at primary school level, to GCSE essay-writing skills, including CV and personal statement writing. I have experience aiding my younger brother with such skills, as well as a previous role volunteering at a tutoring company which helped primary school-aged children. My tutoring sessions will all be online which will allow for a more flexible schedule.
