Gavin is a kind, patient and reliable tutor.
He always finds the right approach for both, me and my 10 year old son. He is very knowledgeable and a musician by heart.
He has been teaching us for over a year now.
It's been fun and a pleasure.

Gavin gave my 12 year old son guitar private guitar lessons last year for around 10 months. I found him to be reliable and professional and my son looked forward to the lessons each week. Gavin made the lessons fun and was extremely patient, he developed my sons understanding of music and even helped him write a song for the band my son and a couple of his friends are in. My son has now gone on to chose music in his G.C.E choices, I put a large part of that down to the lessons he had with Gavin which seemed to really develop his interest and enjoyment for the subject. Although Gavin did not make the lessons all about grades, my son recently sat a grade 4 in guitar and passed. He was a total beginner to start with. My son found enough confidence and ability to play guitar with his friends and enjoy playing guitar in his band and for this reason he chose to stop having his lessons with Gavin. I found Gavin to be a very likeable person, he makes you feel relaxed and manages to instill confidence , even though learning an instrument is difficult and takes time, he is very encouraging.

Gavin is an incredibly talented musician who I’ve known and jammed with for nearly 30 years. He’s reliable, sincere and a very fun and easy to get along with guy. I’ve no doubt he’ll make lessons enjoyable, fulfilling and a great learning experience.
