About Nadine
I’m a professional actor who recently played Theo Dane in Ballet Shoes at the National Theatre. Other notable roles include Sir Toby Belch in Twelfth Night and Paulina in The Winter’s Tale at Shakespeare’s Globe, Paulette in Legally Blonde at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, and Shenzi in The Lion King. I was also part of the original casts of Legally Blonde and The Book of Mormon in the West End. Currently, I can be seen as Shago in Doctor Who. Alongside my acting career, I have worked in higher education and drama schools, frequently delivering talks and workshops at universities and training institutions. I’m passionate about helping the next generation of performers build confidence, deepen their knowledge, and find their unique voices in the industry. I am equally committed to supporting current actors and performers, especially those returning after a break, to rebuild confidence, reconnect with their voice, and refine their craft.

As an Actor, former Head of Year at a top London drama school, and someone who has worked behind the audition table for drama schools, professional theatre and TV, I bring practical insight from both sides of the industry. Whether you are preparing for drama school auditions, or refining your craft, I offer supportive guidance tailored to your goals. I focus on breaking down monologues and scenes, including Shakespeare, by exploring what the writer is communicating. Together, we analyse the character’s intentions, emotions and backstory, connecting these elements to find authentic, truthful, choices.

Nadine gave my daughter her love of Shakespeare, she worked with her on her audition monologues and song and as we saw her confidence improve, my husband also had sessions with Nadine to improve his public speaking going into his new role. Nadine is a brilliant, kind and supportive teacher/mentor. My daughter is starting drama school in September.
Nadine is the greatest cheerleader, listener and advocate for your skill. There are few people who are able to see the absolute best in people and amplify it beyond the noise of critics and unhelpful versions of performing arts training - Nadine is thankfully one of the few. Anyone training in performing arts will benefit from having Nadine on their team!
Nadine’s enthusiasm for teaching is evident the moment you see her engage with young people. She is kind, approachable and extremely knowledgeable - providing excellent age appropriate advice and instruction.
Nadine is someone with a wealth of knowledge as a performer and actor but also as a human and person in the arts. She brings these elements with harmony and humor! I will never forget those nuggets of advice.
I have adjudicated exams alongside Nadine and the wisdom, energy and clarity she shares with students is exemplary. She has the perfect gift of infectious playfulness mixed with extreme talent in her field. I would highly recommend Nadine as a tutor.
I had an audition for a west end show and needed someone to run scenes with and give me some feedback and suggestions on how to find different choices. Nadine was an excellent scene partner and made me feel comfortable and confident, and I got the job!
Would highly recommendI was taught a workshop by Nadine last year and it was nothing short of EXCELLENT! As a very experienced performer as well as a very sweet person, Nadine is a very inspiring person to be taught by and with her plethora of knowledge and previous work she is especially good at her job.
