About David
I spent more than 30 years working in theater, film, and television as an actor, writer, director, and producer.
I trained at HB Studio in New York, studied theater at William Paterson, and performed with companies including New York’s 13th Street Repertory Theatre and Los Angeles’ Theatre Neo. My experience also includes television, independent film, producing, directing, and coaching actors in both class and one-on-one settings.
What I enjoy most is helping an actor get unstuck — finding the adjustment, substitution, objective, or sometimes slightly ridiculous trick that suddenly makes the scene click.
I’m direct, supportive, and very individual in my approach. I’m less interested in whether a technique sounds impressive than whether it actually helps you do better work.

Acting is personal. What unlocks a scene for one actor may do nothing for another.
My coaching is individualized to you, your material, and the way you work. I can help with auditions, self-tapes, monologues, cold readings, scene work, character development, and emotional connection.
I don’t teach one “correct” method. Whether you trained in Stanislavski, Meisner, Uta Hagen, the Bugs Bunny School of Dramatic Emoting, or you have no formal technique at all, we use what works and find another way in when it doesn’t.
Bring me the scene. We’ll make it work.
