I am a hands-on teacher who has researched the application of content to learn it. I follow a pattern in my lessons of vocabulary, background knowledge, and application. I have experience working in middle school, high school, and undergraduate classes. I have a BA in History, a MAT in Social Studies education, and a Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction with focus on Holocaust Studies, Secondary Social Studies, and Literacy skills in Social Studies.
