About Carmelo
I am a passionate photographer currently studying for a Bachelor of Arts degree in Photography after completing an Advanced Diploma in Photography. Through both my studies and personal projects, I have developed strong technical and creative skills in different areas of photography, including portrait, landscape, long exposure, macro and conceptual photography.
I enjoy helping others learn photography in a simple, practical, and encouraging way. I understand that learning photography can feel confusing at first, especially when trying to understand camera settings and creative techniques, so I aim to make lessons clear, relaxed, and adapted to each student’s pace and goals.
Alongside my academic studies, I also work on personal and professional photography projects, which allows me to share both theoretical knowledge and real practical experience with students. My goal is not only to teach students how to use a camera, but also to help them develop confidence, creativity, and their own photographic style.

I teach photography with a practical and creative approach, helping students understand both the technical and artistic side of photography. My lessons are adapted to the student’s level and goals, whether they are complete beginners or people who already have some experience and want to improve their skills.
During lessons, I can teach:
• How a camera works
• Exposure triangle (aperture, shutter speed, ISO)
• Composition rules and visual storytelling
• Lighting techniques
• Portrait and landscape photography
• Long exposure photography
• Basic photo editing in Lightroom and Photoshop
• Creative and advanced photography techniques
A typical lesson usually starts with a simple explanation of the topic, followed by practical examples and exercises to help students learn by doing. I believe practice is one of the best ways to improve in photography.
What sets me apart is that I am currently studying for a Bachelor of Arts degree in Photography after completing an Advanced Diploma in Photography, so I combine academic knowledge with practical experience and a modern creative approach. I also try to make lessons relaxed, simple to understand, and adapted to each student individually.
My lessons are suitable for:

• Students studying photography
• Hobby photographers
• People who want to improve their camera skills and creativity
• Anyone interested in learning how to use a DSLR or mirrorless camera properly.
