I share Einstein's opinion when he wondered how curiosity can survive the formal way of teaching. That is why I base my classes on interaction and always like to relate things to practical life as much as I can. Honestly, I like to be to the point as much as possible, however, if I felt the student is highly engaged I would be happy to go and emphasize more.
I think its the students right to realize the importance or the application of what they study in order to have a meaning. Although I like to use pen and paper and sometimes depend on notes, but pictures and animation play an important part during my teaching when they are available.
"In learning you will teach, and in teaching you will learn"...Personally teaching was always my secret to study for my lessons and is still my way to go through my lectures and to keep my mind fresh with basics of science.
I am a post-graduate student who is interested in biomedical sciences and drug related subjects. During my GCE I realized that I am fond of biology and therefore, I did my BSc in biomedical sciences with concentration in drug design and development. Currently I am doing my post-graduate studies in advanced pharmaceutical manufacture after realizing that science could be without meaning if not translated from bench to market.
