About Diego
I am a recent graduate from the University of California, San Diego. I studied Aerospace Engineering and have professional experience in manufacturing, design, and analysis. I will be continuing as a satellite mechanical engineer this August. I have tutored professionally in elementary through high school after school programs. I have learned that many struggling students can learn and want to learn when they know that their learning matters.

I can shape lessons for all age ranges across the subjects of math, engineering, and college-prep. I understand that each student is different, and I seek to engage each student in an effort to foster their learning while also growing their personal desire to learn. I start by gauging a students interest and level of understanding before teaching by example at the students own pace.
My lessons are for any student who feels a traditional classroom setting does not provide sufficient engagement/learning. I encourage learning, but ultimately the desire to improve must come from within.
