About Christie
I have been learning German since 2004. At high school, I took part in a German immersion program where I was required to do all core subjects completely in German from Year 8 to Year 10. In senior, I completed a German Extension subject and came top of the class, even beating the native German-speaking students. At university, I studied a Diploma in Languages, majoring in German and received a scholarship to study German at Albert-Ludwigs University in Freiburg, Germany. I have also completed two exchanges to Germany, one in high school and another in university.

My teaching philosophy is that each student is unique and therefore, I adapt my teaching style to best suit students' abilities, interests and goals. All ages and abilities are welcome. I can help students to improve their reading, writing, listening, speaking and grammar skills, as well as prepare for tests or improve their performance in German classes at school and university.
