About Alex
I've been involved in teaching and tutoring at various levels for over 2 years. I mainly focus on mathematics and physics but can also teach up to A-level for any other science. I'm currently studying for a PhD in theoretical physics at Imperial College London. I'm a recent recipient of a FoNS teaching award for a series of problem classes I gave to undergraduates.
My main experience is in A-level and degree teaching, but i have also done GCSE tutoring in the past. I also tutor for specialist entrance exams with a particular focus on Oxbridge entrance papers. To date all of my students have achieved their first choice universities at the end of their A-levels.
I'm happy to offer the first lesson at a reduced rate so that I can assess your child's particular needs and see if my teaching style will benefit them. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
