About Hannah

In my professional career, I’ve worked closely with students from junior high to high school helping students understand complex concepts in history and philosophy. I also have extensive experience working with students with learning disabilities ranging from ADHD, to Autism Spectrum Disorder. I believe that with outside help, dedication and a passion for learning can be more than enough to propel students into achieving their highest academic success.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I strive to help students unlock their potential in history, philosophy, and English by creating a supportive space where curiosity and critical thinking can thrive. I guide them in developing strong analytical skills, encouraging them to question sources, understand complex ideas, and express their insights clearly and confidently. By tailoring explanations to their individual learning styles and breaking down challenging concepts, I help students build both mastery and enthusiasm for these subjects. My goal is not only to improve their academic performance but also to foster a deeper appreciation for the power of ideas, stories, and human thought.

Perfect! Hannah really knows how to connect and make the material fun to learn!

Hannah's response
Student was receptive, and open to learning larger more in-depth content. She used her time wisely by taking notes and asking clarifying questions, and brought samples of her work to give examples of what she needed help with and how her class was ran. Overall, great experience getting to learn and teach with her!
