Pastry work is the best combination of art and science. Neither can be taught simply from demonstration, and I don’t believe pastry work and baking are like that either. I want students to feel involved during hands on lessons so they feel confident and capable to try things for themselves! I base lessons on the very cirriculum I studied in culinary school, instilling new skills and building on that foundation to master things like chocolate work, baking the perfect sponge, and plating the perfect dinner party dessert course.
I graduated from culinary school in america and moved to london to further my skills and passion for pastry. I’ve worked in hotels, michellin starred restaurants and independently owned bakeries and have learned so much in my career.
Regarding food cost: students can purchase ingredients themselves as stated in a recipe list provided. I can also purchase ingredients and any food costs will be added to base rate.
