About Torey
I lived in Germany for around eight years and got my bachelor's in Education at the University of Hamburg, before moving back to Alaska to start my family.
I have been a certified teacher in the state of Alaska and worked in an immersion program teaching German.
I love being outdoors, and live off-grid most of the year, so hard work comes easy to me!

After learning German myself and being frustrated with teachers who could never tell me the "whys" of German, I am excited to teach learners who really want to dig into the hows and whys of German.
I have taught all ages and abilities and can easily curate lessons to fit your needs and wants. I am especially good at accent reduction for American speakers.
