About Elodie
My passion for Mathematics developed through years of exploring logical structures, numerical patterns, and problem-solving challenges that required patience and analytical thinking. This interest led me to pursue a Master’s Degree in Applied Mathematics and dedicate over 10 years to helping students strengthen their mathematical confidence and reasoning ability.
Over time, I have worked with students of different academic levels and helped them overcome fear of Mathematics by breaking complex concepts into simple, structured explanations. My teaching approach focuses on clarity, repetition, and gradual skill-building so that students gain confidence step by step. I also emphasise consistent practice because mathematical ability improves significantly through application and problem-solving experience.
My ultimate goal is to help students become independent thinkers who can confidently solve mathematical problems and apply quantitative reasoning in real-life situations. I want learners to develop a mindset where they see challenges as solvable steps rather than obstacles. With strong foundations and continuous practice, students can excel academically and apply mathematical thinking effectively in careers such as engineering, finance, data science, research, and technology-driven industries.

My Mathematics lessons are designed to help students build strong logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities through structured explanations, step-by-step methods, and continuous practice. I teach algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and statistics using approaches that simplify complex mathematical ideas into clear, understandable steps. Students learn how to analyse problems, identify patterns, and apply correct methods with confidence and accuracy.
Each lesson is adapted to the learner’s academic level and learning pace. Beginners focus on arithmetic operations, equations, number sense, and foundational problem-solving skills. Intermediate learners strengthen algebraic manipulation, graph interpretation, functions, and trigonometric concepts. Advanced students work on calculus, optimisation problems, higher-order reasoning, and exam-oriented analytical techniques. Regular practice ensures improvement in both speed and precision over time.
My goal is to help students develop a strong mathematical mindset where they can approach problems logically instead of relying on memorisation. Through consistent practice and guided reasoning, learners build the ability to break complex problems into simpler steps and solve them efficiently. This prepares them for advanced studies and careers in engineering, data science, economics, finance, and other analytical fields where mathematical thinking is essential for decision-making and problem-solving.
