About Lauren
I graduated from The University of Oklahoma with a bachelors degree in anthropology. During a semester off, I found a passion for teaching history and geography while working as a substitute teacher for middle and high school classes. I tutored AP (U.S version of A level) history and geography students and took those classes myself before starting university. As an employee of one of my professors, I also taught extra credit classes and anthropology training workshops at the college level.
I am currently a postgraduate student at UCL, studying Paleoanthropology. I would love to share my passion for the past with you! Please let me know if you have any questions!

My approach to tutoring is built on patience and consistency. I use my genuine love of the subject matter to set a tone that is open and curious. If students are frustrated or bored, they rarely retain the material as well as if they feel open and relaxed. I like my sessions to be a fun as well as informative experience.
