I am an experienced science educator with a strong background in supporting students across Key Stage 3 science, Maths and GCSE sciences, specialising in Biology. My tutoring approach is inclusive, adaptive, and student-centred, with extensive experience working with learners with SEND, including those with ASC and ADHD. I break down complex scientific concepts into manageable steps using clear explanations, visual aids, and real-life examples to build confidence and understanding. Through tailored one-to-one support, I help students develop scientific thinking, exam technique, and independent learning skills. I am particularly skilled at engaging reluctant learners, using patience, structured guidance, and positive reinforcement to rebuild confidence and motivation. With eight years’ experience in a UK special needs school, I also provide targeted support for SEND students, promoting positive learning behaviours, enjoyment, and the confidence needed to achieve their full potential.
