As a tutor with over 10 years of teaching experience, I have developed a variety of research-based tutoring techniques that have proven to be successful in helping students reach their academic goals. I possess the flexibility to tailor my teaching approach to accommodate the unique requirements of each individual. My training has equipped me with research-based tools, which have proven to be remarkably successful within my department. Specifically, I employ the Concrete, Pictorial, Abstract (CPA) style, known for its exceptional effectiveness in capturing learners' attention. My instructional methods are cantered on making lessons captivating and relevant, consistently integrating real-life examples to facilitate a deeper understanding of the concepts
Commencing every lesson with a High Intensity Retrieval exercise is a practice I adhere to. This approach has been empirically demonstrated as the most potent method for cementing learning in long-term memory, a phenomenon elucidated by the Ebbinghaus forgetting curve.

The best teacher I ever had. Due to Ash's great teaching style I was able to achieve an A in Maths.
Really helpful! Helped me a lot with my AS physics and explained things in a very clear manner that allowed me to understand whilst going at a quick pace.
The experience was good. The tacking was impacting. you made the topics seem easy. I shall hope to see you in future.
Ash is a brilliant tutor. My sons confidence and capability have increased dramatically since they began working together and I am always kept up to date with his progress
Mr. Ash has been giving tuition to my son for last one year for 3 hours a day, 5 days a week. There is a lot of improvement in my son's education. I am very happy my son has made very good progress.
I am very happy with the tuition provided to me by Ash and I learned the basics of Maths. It raised my confidence. Now, I enjoyed the subject.
Ash started tutoring my daughter GCSE Mathematics at the beginning of year 11 (2017). Ash met with her for one hour per week and as a result her confidence in the subject rose significantly. I would recommend Ash if your son or daughter is looking to increase their chances of an improved grade in GCSE mathematics.
Ash has been preparing me for C2, C3 and C4 for past 9 months. In every lesson, I learnt something new and have applied these in the exam.
Each lesson provided me a lot in Maths. Maths is not too difficult because my tutor is good at teaching and communicating.
I have enjoyed all the lessons with Ash. I have improved in Maths.
