About Fran

As a passionate and driven art educator, I bring extensive expertise and a deep love for creativity to my tutoring. My commitment to helping students unlock their artistic potential is more than just a profession—it’s a calling. There’s nothing quite like the satisfaction of seeing my students grow, whether it’s through their evolving skills, confidence, or unique artistic voice.

For me, teaching art isn’t just about techniques or grades; it’s about fostering self-expression, curiosity, and a lifelong appreciation for creativity. I strongly believe in nurturing young artists, recognising them as the future innovators and storytellers of our world. My approach is centred on patience, encouragement, and tailoring lessons to each student’s individual style and goals.

Don’t look any further for a geography tutor! Fran has helped my daughter hugely through her GCSE. She is prepared, tailors the work, knowledgeable about exam preparation and approach based on exam board as well as a very lovely person. My shy daughter has really benefitted from the tutoring and coaching along the way. Unreservedly recommend.

Fran teaches my daughter in year 10. She has a lovely way of teaching Chloe.
Fran plans her lessons beforehand which hasn’t gone unnoticed by me! She is well prepared when she teaches for the hour and the lessons flow.
Fran is keen to find out what Chloe is studying in her lessons at school and always engages Chloe throughout the lesson.
Very pleased with her. Keep up the good work Fran!
