About Preshita
Hey guys,
I'm Presh and I graduated from high school in 2015 having done the International Baccalaureate (IB) and am currently in my 4th year of Medicine at the University of New South Wales.
I received an overall 41 (equivalent to 99 ATAR) in the IB with the following grades:
Chemistry (Higher Level) - 6
Biology (Higher Level) - 7
Economics (Higher Level) - 7
Maths (Standard Level) - 7
English (Standard Level) - 6
Biology Extended Essay - A
As such, I am offering to teach chemistry, biology and economics for HSC and IB students. I am also offering help in editing and structuring biology extended essays and internal assessments (IA's) for those of you doing the IB. For those of you interested in studying medicine, I can also provide preparation advice for the applications to come!
I have a sound understanding of these subjects and am willing to help out with any topics and concerns you might have. As for previous experience, I have taught biology and chemistry HSC and have helped students in editting their extended essays.
I would ideally would love to teach at UNSW, Kensington or nearby locations, and charge $45ph for teaching subjects and assignment editing rates vary.

I tailor my teaching to the students needs and and will change methods depending on what works best for the student. I would like to meet students 2-3 times a week. For example, In Biology I will ideally talk through concepts according to the school academic year for the first few weeks, then provide homework that will usually consist of summarising concepts in earlier weeks. In following weeks, this is followed by revision at the beginning of classes, talking through difficult concepts with diagrams and example questions and slowly progressing to consolidating information and mini tests during classes (not intimidating, just discussions!). I have plenty of resources such as revision books, past papers and am willing to put in time and effort beyond the classroom for all students :)
