I am comfortable teaching from Year 7 through to A-level and though I can teach groups, I feel I can bring the best value in a 1:1 or 2:1 scenario.
In terms of approach, I seek to assess each students learning styles and inorder to adapt my learning methods accordingly. The first couple of sessions will be focused on understanding where the student is and developing a plan moving forward.
I aim not just to ensure that the content has been understood but also to foster independent thought and critical thinking skills. Above all, I believe providing real life industrial application of the curriculum is key to engaging with a subject and I place heavy emphasis on this during my lessons.
As a first class electronic and electrical degree Masters degree holder from UCL. I have been working professionally as an electronic engineer for the last 4 years in the automotive sector. I have experience with delivering complex systems for autonomous driving capability of the future.
During university, I provided both 1-1 and group tuition up to A-level within various schools. In addition to this I became a debate mate tutor taking classes of up to 12 students and facilitating debate classes.
