About Katherine
I hold a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art where I studied under major art world players. With 8 years of experience working in galleries, big tech and the studios of well-known artists, I possess a strong understanding of the fine art industry. My art historical prowess and intellectual curiosity is a great fit for students developing portfolios for art school admissions. I also love working with younger kids on drawing and mixed media assignments.

Combining my digital expertise with drawing skills, I offer lesson plans on Photoshop, publishing, printmaking, writing and concept development. Meeting students where they are is paramount to my teaching practice. I lead with compassion and offer a wide range of expertise tailored to the student's individual needs. Whether its building technical skills or developing a body of work, I'm passionate about helping young artists expand their visual language.
