About Claude
I'm an award-winning graphic designer and illustrator from Los Angeles, California. I’ve done work for non-profits, start-ups, churches, musicians, athletes, city government, and more. I’ve been illustrating since I was twelve and ran my own upstart design firm from 2001-2007. Merging my love for art and graphics helps me create stunning works.
My artistic style and "dad joke" wit are my fingerprints that make what I do stand out as colorful and fun creations. I have a pretty good eye for design and concepts that set my work apart. I’m able to take raw ideas and create works that perfectly match their intents. The challenge of creating something new every day is what I enjoy about the work I do!

I teach an all-ages textbook style illustration class that welcomes a wide range of skill levels.
Start each session with simple drawing warm-up exercises for beginners and the experienced; maintain a fun, encouraging vibe for creativity; and ending each class with a sharing session
Lessons include: Line drawing; Caricature illustration – teaching identifying features and exaggeration principles; Life drawing – Short-pose gesture drawing (1-5 minutes); Digital and Conventional media – Showing how the same principles apply to both tracks; and more!
