About Judee
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and my Master’s in Social Studies Education from Rutgers University. I am an award-winning educator with experience teaching World History, Civics, Geography, Psychology, essay writing, and analytical writing.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy volunteering with community organizations and working with newcomer and refugee students through educational programs. In my free time, I love gardening, floral design, and spending time outdoors. I believe learning should feel supportive, engaging, and meaningful, and I bring that mindset into every tutoring session.

! My name is Judee, and I’m an award-winning educator with a Master’s in Social Studies Education and several years of classroom experience teaching students of all learning levels. I specialize in World History, Civics, Geography, Psychology, essay writing, and analytical writing. My goal as a tutor is not just to help students memorize information, but to help them truly understand concepts and build confidence in their abilities.
One of my biggest strengths is helping students build strong foundations. Many students struggle because they feel like they are “behind” or missed important basics along the way. I pride myself on meeting students where they are, breaking complicated ideas down into manageable steps, and creating a supportive learning environment where growth feels possible. Whether we are working on understanding historical events, improving analytical thinking, writing stronger essays, or preparing for exams, I focus on making learning approachable and engaging.
As a classroom teacher, I have experience working with a wide variety of learners, including students who need extra support, English language learners, and advanced students looking to strengthen their skills even further. I understand that every student learns differently, and I tailor my teaching style to fit each individual student’s needs.
