About Kathryn
I am passionate about reading and education, and this is reflected in the way that I teach and tutor. Because of my education background and my multi-year experience with teaching English and Reading, I am qualified for this position. In addition to my background in Secondary English at the high school level, I have taught at summer programs, specializing in remedial reading skill growth for younger ages, specifically Kindergarten through 4th grade.

I can tutor for English and Reading skills for any age, but I specialize in the middle and high school levels. Depending on how the student responds to initial evaluations, I will personalize lessons to ensure that specific needs can be met in order to improve certain skills and subjects. This can be catered to specific tests as well, such as the ACT.
