About Liezl
Hello, you can call me Teacher Liz. I am a Filipina teacher with 13 years of experience. In the past, I served as a coach for the World Scholars Cup (WSC) while I was in Bahrain. I had the opportunity to travel to Athens, Greece, and Yale University to coach a group of students for competition. I choose to teach because I find great joy in seeing my students learn, sharing stories and experiences, and helping them discover their passions and interests. I believe that teaching is not just a profession but a vocation that inspires students to view school as a fun and engaging place for learning. I am open-minded and an active listener. If you ever find it difficult to understand a lesson, please don’t hesitate to let me know. I am always willing to repeat the lesson until you feel satisfied. If you start to feel bored, just inform me, and I will happily adjust my teaching methods to keep you engaged.

I can teach online using Google Meet or Zoom. I use visual and interactive lessons and presentations to engage students. Prepare sets of activities and assessments to assess the level of understanding of the students. The length of the lesson will vary depending on the simplicity or complexity of the lesson. It usually takes between 1 - 2 hours or more. I have been teaching in a formal setting for 13 years in the Philippines and in the Kingdom of Bahrain. I can accept students in the intermediate and high school, ages between 12 to 18 years old.
