About Micah
As a student, my professors poured their passion for history into me by sparking my interest. They came to see what I enjoyed diving deeper into, and used this strength to my benefit. As a tutor, I strive to share my love of history with my students by doing the same. Even those whose chosen fields are entirely different from history can find some similarities, which I use to cultivate a learning environment tailored to the individual. My past students even include science, engineering, and arts students who, after our interactions, grew to have a new understanding and appreciation for the field of history. My firm belief is that everyone can love history, and I aim to reach this with each and every one of my students.

As your tutor, I will guide you in writing research papers, theses, and literature reviews which will enrich and enhance the learning experience from your institution. We will look over assignments together to understand what your teacher or professor is asking to see, and I will guide your research efforts towards these goals. Whatever the citation method required, I will enable you to give clear, proper credit to authors. As you write, I will provide constructive feedback based on my experiences and what I understand of the assignments.
My hands-on approach to studying history comes from over 10 years of living in foreign countries in both Europe and Asia, and will enable you to experience history firsthand rather than solely from books and materials.
These lessons are designed for High School and Undergraduate students taking history classes such as Western Civilization 1/2, U.S. History 1/2, etc.
