About Mackenzie
Hello!
My name is Mackenzie, and I have recently graduated from my Bachelor’s of History degree at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly known as Ryerson University) in May 2023.
I am a full-time employee for the Canadian Federal Government, but I am also a part-time online tutor. I have considerable experience in reading, writing, research, and many history-related topics.
I graduated with a 3.9 GPA and won multiple awards for my academic and extra-curricular achievements and believe I can assist you or your child to help them achieve their academic goals.

I am open to tutoring students at the elementary, high-school, and university levels for a variety of subjects. I believe that all students can excel, but sometimes, the classroom environment does not provide enough support or attentions to all students to make sure they fully understand the material. This is where my expertise comes in! I can take the extra time needed to make sure the student fully comprehends what they are being taught.
The topics I can tutor are:

Reading Comprehension
-teaching how to not only read the text, but have the ability to process the deeper meaning of it
