About Tyana
I believe that the greatest gifts that I can give to a student are three things: confidence, passion for learning, and a love of reading and writing. No matter what level, or so-called success, reading and writing is a gift that cannot be exchanged, and can ensure a confidence that lasts through decades. My lessons are engaging and unique, and keep students interested by providing fun visuals and activities that help them have a yearning to read. Not only are the lessons fun, but provide beneficial strategies that help them improve their fluency, comprehension, phonic/phonemic awareness, and etc. I teach through Experience learning and student-centered learning that engages and includes the student to be an active participant on how and what they learn. A typical lesson plan includes scaffolding the information so that the student is aware of what to do, why they are doing it, and how to get to the level that is presented. My lessons can vary from K-8 in instruction.
