About Nola

I hold a bachelor’s degree in English literature and have accumulated seven years of tutoring experience with students of diverse ages and skill levels. My teaching philosophy centres on patience, clarity, and customisation, aiming to make learning accessible and enjoyable for everyone. My background includes working with students preparing for exams, improving writing for school or work, and enhancing spoken English for travel or business. I tailor each lesson to individual needs, helping learners build confidence and achieve measurable progress. I am passionate about language and communication and believe that effective English skills open doors to new opportunities. My goal is to empower students by providing clear explanations, practical tools, and ongoing encouragement throughout their learning journey.

About the lesson

My English lessons focus on building core language skills through practical, interactive methods. We begin with grammar essentials such as sentence structure, verb tenses, and punctuation, ensuring a solid foundation. Each lesson includes exercises and real-life examples to make concepts clear and applicable. Writing skills are a key part of the lessons. I guide students through organising ideas, drafting essays, and refining vocabulary to express thoughts clearly and effectively. Whether it’s academic writing, creative stories, or professional communication, lessons are tailored to fit your goals and style. Conversational English is also emphasised, with practice in everyday dialogue, pronunciation, and listening comprehension. I create a comfortable, supportive environment where students can build confidence speaking naturally. Lessons adapt to your pace and focus on practical usage to prepare you for real-world conversations.
