About Annette
I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a highest distinction in Neuroscience and minors in Education and Chemistry. Currently, I am on the premedical pathway in my gap year. I also have extensive experience working with students through being a substitute teacher at the high school level, student instructor at the college level, as well as mentoring and tutoring in science, reading, and math for middle school/elementary school students.

I have experience student teaching as well as substitute teaching at the high school level for Science and Math. My lessons involve a lot of active learning and participation from students, along with lots of practice questions. I make sure that students have a strong understanding of fundamental concepts as well as how to apply their knowledge to questions they may see in class or on exams.
