About Owain Thomas
British my blood, grew up in New Zealand and China. I am a native English speaker but have recognised fluency in mandarin Chinese.
I enjoy teaching, literature, history, physics and I play a few sports.
I believe in a good life balance between academia and the physical world.

Depending on a students need, i begin with a consultation class and asses their strengths and weaknesses in a topic, and generally test different teaching methods to see how the student reacts and what works best for them.
From there I create a plan that outlines what they want to gain from my lessons, what they need to do to reach this goal, and what is the best approach we can take.
I not only prepare and teach classes to my students, I also create personalised content/articles for my students to review in their own time and homework if they are willing to do that little bit extra.
If a student is willing to try hard, I am willing to try hard to meet their needs.
