Hello, my name is Michael and I have a passion for teaching music. I first picked the bass when I was 15 but quickly expanded to acoustic and electric.
I have learned much from working with some of the most talented musicians on the planet.
I have built and taught curriculum on modern worship for all the major instruments to be able to work together on platform.
I would also love to find you the elements of your rig that will help you enjoy playing the most.
Depending on your skill level, I will start with:
• Hand technique & posture
• Basic music theory
• Scales and chords, starting with G, C, A, D & E
• Start on one favorite song
• Timing with a metronome
As you progress, we will add:
• Chords and scales in other keys
• More advanced number exercises
• Working through full songs
• Crafting your tone
• Learning to play with other instruments
