About Maria
I am a professional violinist and a full-time member of the first violin section of the BBC Concert Orchestra. I was previously a member of the Copenhagen Philharmonic Orchestra and have performed internationally as both an orchestral and chamber musician, in halls like the Carnegie hall, Het Concertgebouw and the Royal Albert Hall.
I hold a Master's degree in Violin performance with distinction from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and a Bachelor's degree in Music with first class honors from the Royal Academy of Music.
Music has been an integral part of my life for many years, shaping who I am both as a musician and as a person. I love sharing my experience and knowledge with others and helping students discover the joy, fulfilment and beauty that playing the violin can bring.

Maria is a kind and passionate teacher. She has been teaching my son Joshua for 2 years. He quickly moved through the grades thanks to her guidance and successfully passed Grade 4 just last month! Highly recommended.
