About Toros
Hi! My name is Toros, and I am a student at UC Berkeley majoring in Neuroscience and Public Health with a minor in Creative Writing. I have always loved reading, writing, and helping others learn. Throughout high school and college, I have developed strong communication skills through my coursework, research, and leadership experiences. I earned 5s on both the AP English Language and AP English Literature exams and continue to strengthen my writing through my creative writing studies at Berkeley.
I believe the best learning happens when students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My goal is to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students build confidence while improving their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. Whether you're preparing for an AP English exam, working on essays, improving grammar, or simply trying to become a stronger reader and writer, I tailor each lesson to your individual goals and learning style. I look forward to helping you succeed!

I believe every student can become a confident writer with the right guidance. My lessons are personalized to each student's goals, whether they are improving reading comprehension, strengthening grammar, preparing for AP English exams, or writing stronger essays. As a Creative Writing minor and Neuroscience/Public Health student at UC Berkeley, I enjoy making literature and writing engaging rather than intimidating. My lessons focus on building confidence through discussion, practice, and constructive feedback. I work with middle school, high school, and college students, helping them develop analytical thinking, improve their writing, and communicate their ideas clearly. My goal is not only to improve grades but also to help students become stronger, more confident readers and writers.
