About Defne
I am a senior at UC Berkeley majoring in Molecular Biology. I work as a Teaching Assistant (TA) at the university. I have successfully completed many courses such as calculus, chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, biochemistry, genetics, and physics.
I graduated from Üsküdar American Academy. Within the scope of the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma program, I passed the Higher Level mathematics, chemistry and physics courses and the Advanced Placement (AP) biology exams with high scores.
In addition to university level courses, I also teach English, mathematics and science private lessons at secondary and high school level.

I teach university-level courses, as well as AP (Advanced Placement), IB (International Baccalaureate), High School and Secondary level courses. I prefer to prepare an individualized program for each student:
- Regular reviews and/or covering lecture/ class material
- Problem solving, testing techniques and additional materials to support learning
- Scheduling and support for tests
All tutoring sessions are offered in English and in Turkish.

Defne hocayla liseden beri tanışıyoruz. Beraber farklı dersler üzerine uzun bir süre boyunca çalıştık. Özellikle kimya ve biyoloji derslerinde gerçekten çok başarılı. Detaylara çok önem veriyor ve anlaşılmayan hiçbir nokta bırakmıyor. Bana kimya derslerimde çok yardımı dokundu. Kesinlikle tavsiye ederim.
Defne hocam çok iyi bir öğretmendir. Öğrencilerine karşı çok kibardır, anlamadıkları yerleri hiç sıkılmadan tekrar anlatır. Matematik dersimde eksilerimi artılara çevirmeme yardımcı oldu. Defne hocamdan ders alabilirsiniz kendisini tavsiye ederim.
Defne Öğretmen soran, sorgulayan ve merak eden ogrenciler yetistirir.Ogrencilerini belli kaliplara sokmaz ,her dersi heyacanli ve istekli geçer. Defne Öğretmeni tanıdığıma çok memnunum.
