About Donovan
I am a composer for movies and video games, based in Mexico City. I have over 10 years of experience composing, playing, and producing music, plus a BA in Film Scoring with a specialty in Video Game Scoring from Berklee College of Music. My career has allowed me to deeply learn the musical production process; from creating an initial idea, to development in the DAW, to mixing, to a final deliverable.

The most important thing that I have learned in my years of experience is that music is not a linear art. It is a collection of concepts that intertwine to form a final product. For this reason, my teaching process is based on a multidisciplinary method that is shaped according to the student's objective. With me, you can learn how to use all aspects of music (composition, recording, execution, mixing, etc.) to develop your project.
