Having taught as a Naturalist at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, on a Kayak in Prince William Sound with Alaska Sea Kayakers, and with the Audubon Center of the Northwoods, I believe making connections with the world around you is the best way to make sense of biology. If you’re learning about something biological, but you don’t know how it’s relevant to the rest of life, someone somewhere has failed you. I hope to build your understanding of how your studies fit into the world at large.
