About Adiel A
I'm a bilingual English/Spanish tutor, educated in the U.S., and I can explain things in either language when you get stuck. I passed Wyzant's exams in English, grammar, proofreading, reading and vocabulary, and I've worked in customer service communicating in English every day.
My approach: learn to think in English instead of translating. We work with real material (articles, emails, interview questions) and I ask questions that make you reason in English, correcting as we go. I also help with resumes and interview practice.
I'm relaxed but focused: we set your goals in the first session and build the lessons around them. If you can already hold a basic conversation and want to sound natural at work or in interviews, let's talk.
I also help with CCNA concepts: I studied for it with labs and practice exams, in English or Spanish.

My teaching method focuses on active learning through real content analysis. We work with business articles, case studies, or topics relevant to your goals. Each session combines reading comprehension, vocabulary building, and critical discussion. I use the Socratic method, asking questions that help you reason in English rather than translate. Techniques include contextual learning, pattern recognition, and practical application in real-world scenarios.
A typical 60-minute lesson includes:
Warm-up conversation (10 min) - discuss current topics, review progress
Reading analysis (20 min) - work through an article/text, analyze vocabulary and context
Critical discussion (20 min) - deep dive into the topic, practice reasoning and argumentation
Practical application (10 min) - role-play, email writing, or presentation practice
Lessons are flexible and adapted to your immediate needs. Homework is optional but recommended
