About Isabela
I recently graduated from the University of South Florida with two science degrees in Chemistry and Marine Biology. Throughout college I made it a habit to teach myself and my peers through some of the most challenging coursework, and honestly that process is a big part of how I got through it. Breaking things down, finding different ways to explain a concept, and sitting with someone until it finally clicks became something I genuinely enjoyed rather than just something I did out of necessity.
I am now taking my career in a different direction toward finance and accounting, which has taught me that learning something completely outside your comfort zone is possible with the right approach and the right support. That experience shapes how I show up as a tutor.

Every student learns differently, so I adapt to you from the start. I love working through practice problems together because that is where things actually click, but if you need to step back and understand the bigger picture first, we can do that too. If something is not landing I will not just repeat it louder, I will find a different way to explain it until it makes sense. Sessions are relaxed and judgment free. Whether you are struggling with a concept or just need someone to work through problems with you, I am here for it. I tutor math, chemistry, biology, and Spanish at all levels and I am comfortable teaching in both English and Spanish.
