About Guadalupe
As a teacher, I am patient, organized, and encouraging. I understand that learning a new language can feel challenging, so I work hard to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence. I take time to understand each student’s goals and adapt my lessons to their level, interests, and preferred learning style.

Hello! My name is Guadalupe, and I am a bilingual English and Spanish teacher with international teaching experience and a master’s degree in Spanish Language and Literature.
My teaching approach is personalized, practical, and student-centered. I adapt each lesson to the student’s level, interests, learning style, and goals. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and using the language in meaningful situations. Depending on the student’s needs, I use conversation practice, authentic materials, games, guided exercises, reading, writing, grammar explanations, and cultural content.

Guadalupe is an amazing teacher to work with. She always makes detailed lesson plans that are fun and engaging. She likes to make lessons based on real TV shows, movies, books and comics that are interesting and dynamic. She always makes me feel comfortable speaking, even though it is a struggle for me, and she is very patient speaking with me which I appreciate. She is also just a great person to talk with and it’s been great getting to know her as I learn Spanish. I highly recommend her!
