About Daisy
I am a bio-science graduate with a first class integrated Master's (MBiol) in Microbiology, awarded through an academic scholarship at Aberystwyth University. I completed A-Level Biology (AQA) myself in 2018, giving me a long-standing familiarity with the specification. My background includes working in a commercial laboratory and explaining complex topics through my science writing blog Microbiology Junction. I am a patient, supportive, and organised tutor who enjoys helping students make sense of challenging ideas and feel confident in their abilities. I take a calm, structured approach and adapt my teaching to each learner's needs, ensuring lessons are clear and engaging, while fostering a positive learning environment where students feel encouraged and capable.
