About Rutalira David
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry with a specialization in Molecular Medicine from Université de Montréal. My academic background has provided me with a strong foundation in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology and related biomedical sciences.
Beyond the classroom, I have hands-on experience in biomedical research, where I worked with molecular and cellular biology techniques and learned how to approach complex scientific problems methodically. This experience allows me to bring a practical perspective to concepts that can sometimes feel abstract in textbooks.
As a tutor, I am patient, organized and adaptable. I understand that every student learns differently, and I aim to create a comfortable environment where students feel free to ask questions and make mistakes. My goal is to make challenging material easier to understand while helping students become increasingly confident and independent.

My approach is centered on understanding rather than memorization. I first identify the student’s strengths, difficulties, and learning style, then adapt each lesson to their specific needs and academic goals.
A typical lesson begins with a short review of key concepts, followed by clear step-by-step explanations and guided examples. We then work through progressively more challenging problems together before the student practices independently. When needed, I also provide personalized exercises and detailed corrections to reinforce the material between lessons.
My background in biochemistry and molecular medicine, combined with hands-on biomedical research experience, allows me to connect scientific concepts to practical and real-world applications. I focus not only on helping students improve their grades, but also on developing their problem-solving skills, confidence, and ability to approach unfamiliar questions independently.
My lessons are adapted for high school, CEGEP and undergraduate university students. I can provide support in mathematics, biology, chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology and related life-science subjects, whether the goal is catching up, preparing for an exam, strengthening fundamentals or going beyond classroom material.
