About Trace

Hi, I’m Trace, a Biological Sciences student at the University of Brighton with a genuine interest in helping younger students become more confident in science. I also have experience in customer service, retail, hospitality and sales, which has strengthened my communication, patience and ability to work with different personalities.

I hold an Enhanced DBS certificate and First Aid certification. I am reliable, approachable and committed to preparing properly for every lesson. My goal is to create a relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing their knowledge at their own pace.

Hi, I’m Trace, a Biological Sciences university student offering supportive Biology and general Science lessons for KS3 and GCSE students aged 11–16. My usual lessons are 60 minutes long and are adapted to each student’s ability, confidence and goals.

I explain difficult topics using simple language, diagrams and real-life examples before using short quizzes, active recall and exam-style questions to check understanding. I also help students improve their revision techniques and approach longer exam questions confidently.

My university studies have given me a strong scientific foundation, while my customer-facing work has developed my communication, patience and ability to explain information clearly. My lessons are friendly, structured and focused on helping students make genuine progress without feeling overwhelmed.
