About Brayden
My name is Brayden, and my path into science wasn’t typical. I started out as a football player, focused more on the field than the classroom. Over time, I realized I actually enjoyed figuring out how things worked, especially in science. That shift is a big part of why I teach the way I do now.
I understand what it’s like to struggle, lose interest, or feel behind. Because of that, I connect well with students who don’t see themselves as “science people.” I focus on making things click in a simple, direct way so students can build confidence quickly.
I’m currently a high school science teacher and coach, so I work with students every day at different levels and learning styles. I take pride in being consistent, reliable, and someone students can trust to help them improve.

I’m Brayden, a high school science teacher and football coach who focuses on getting real results, not just covering content. I help students raise grades, prepare for tests, and actually understand science instead of memorizing it.
My approach is structured and direct. I break complex topics into simple steps, model exactly how to solve problems, and then guide students through practice until they can do it on their own. I constantly check for understanding so nothing gets missed or rushed.
A typical session starts with identifying where the student is stuck, followed by clear instruction, guided practice, and independent work. I adjust on the spot to match their pace and learning style.
What sets me apart is that I balance high expectations with support. I work well with students who are struggling, unmotivated, or just need things explained differently. I also have experience supporting IEP and ELL learners.
My lessons are best for middle school through early college students, especially in biology, earth science, and general science courses.
