About Madelyn
I am a recent Master's graduate with 3 years experience teaching high school biology, I have 2 years experience teaching introductory and upper level biology labs to undergraduate college students. And I am also a summer marine biology instructor for groups of high school students in a hands-on environment in the Caribbean.

My teaching method is very case-by-case. Teaching mostly younger college students, I have noticed that most people have different strengths and weaknesses when studying. I will have you explain your usual approach, listen to what works and what doesn't, and then personalize the way I teach based on your input. The most successful approach has been to break down each topic into the fundamentals, help you to understand the "why", and then work up from there so that you understand each topic fully instead of memorizing information to have you forget about it soon after.
